Community Fund Grant Rounds

The VCF's mission is to ensure that philanthropy is increasingly effective in supporting healthy and vital Vermont communities, and that our charitable partners effectively achieve their missions. Read our complete Ends Statement.

The Community Fund is made up of five discretionary grant programs that allow us the flexibility to make grants throughout the state in support of our mission. The five grant programs are Basic Human Needs, Sustainable Communities, Successful Communities, Special and Urgent Needs, and Strategic Grants.

Please note that the Strategic Grants round will not be held in 2008. Please continue to check our website for updated information in the future.

See the 2008 Community Fund grant round schedule.

The Grantseeker FAQ is a great source of information. We are always happy to help, so please contact the community philanthropy stewards if you have any questions.
