INVESTMENT MANAGER SELECTION
The VCF's asset allocation strategy was determined with the advice of our investment consultant, Colonial Consulting Corporation. With Colonial’s assistance, the VCF has selected a team of talented investment managers to enhance the portfolio’s returns.
Drawing on its databases, wide industry contacts and experience, Colonial recommended managers they believe would produce above-market returns in the future. Those selected by the VCF are proven investment professionals who follow highly disciplined investment approaches. As a group, they complement each other using different investment philosophies and styles of management.
Finally, as part of the selection process, the Foundation and Colonial Consulting considered a number of Vermont-based investment managers. Vermont managers were retained when it was determined that they met Colonial’s criteria for future success.
