Foundation Co-Files Say On Pay Proposal
The Vermont Community Foundation co-filed a shareholder proposal with Oracle Corporation to allow shareholders to have a non-binding "advisory vote" on the executive compensation package proposed by the board at each annual meeting.

The National Council of Nonprofits has released a series of special reports on the nation's economic recovery. The Council is a national organization that advances the vital role and capacity of the nonprofit sector in civil society. It has chosen to share these reports broadly because individuals and communities are suffering,and it believes that the business, government, and nonprofit sectors need to come together for the common good.

VCF Joins Investor Call For Climate Change
As a member of the Investor Network on Climate Risk (INCR) the VCF co-signed a letter in support of a Global Agreement on Climate Change. This is part of our mission investing activities. We are pleased to report that over 135 signers with more than $6 trillion in assets signed the statement--the largest group of investors ever to call for government action on climate change.

VCF Calls on Congress
The VCF is part of a group of 43 investors managing over $1.5 trillion in assets that called on the U.S. Senate to extend tax credits for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects by at least five years to 2013.
