    Other Interesting Facts
  • Had one two-drawer file cabinet and one typewriter when it first opened.
  • Its first office was in the Battell Block in Middlebury, Vermont. Other homes have included the Painter House; half of a building that housed a small animal clinic in Cornwall, Vermont; and 29 Court Street.
  • Its current home at 3 Court Street was once a Masonic Lodge, home to the Valley Voice, and housed a newspaper and cigarette store.
  • Is developing a carbon budget to decrease its carbon footprint and is participating in CVPS’ Cow Power Program.
  • Uses worms & a worm bin to recycle food scraps and other organic material into a valuable soil amendment called vermicompost, or worm compost.
